Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 Review - Good Gear Guide
The Pansonic Lumix DMC-GH1 DSLR builds on the increasing popular Micro Four Thirds standard which provides professional level features but in a more compact body. This is due to a reduction in the size of the lens mount as well as a shorter flange. With a 12.1 megapixel sensor the GH1 can capture stills as well as HD Video with with the later it being the first to provide full manual adjustments of settings. There's even Dolby Digital Stereo recording. Features include Face Recognition, Live View, and high-speed performance.
"Consider this camera if you're just getting serious about photography and don't want a huge digital SLR. It will supply you with a vast array of features and the ability to change lenses, and it will allow you to shoot HD video."

So the new Canon G11 has been announced and people are looking - including me! But I have been carrying the G10 in my pocket for the past year or so and it has gotten to be a habit to grab my keys, wallet, a quarter (gotta have some cash) and the G10. Without it now I don't feel dressed.
