Olympus PEN E-P1 Review – Steve Huff

Olympus PEN E-P1 Based on Micro Four Thirds, Olympus introduced the PEN E-P1 digital camerain June 2009. In a short time people have become fascinated with the 12 megapixel camera that can also grab HD Video with high quality audio. Image stabilization is built into the camera body. The E-P1 can so take multiple exposures, allows full manual controls as well as automatic, provides Art Filters providing creative effects, shoots Raw + JPEG, and even includes a digital leveler that is accessible via the 3″ LCD. And, best of all the E-P1 is an interchangeable lens system giving you a wide option of lenses for your shooting disposal.

“I would choose this as THE camera to buy in the under $1200 category. It beats the Canon G10, Sony HX1, Sigma DP2, and even D-Lux 4 though I love the D-Lux 4 fast lens, macro mode and design. I will keep the D-Lux 4.”
