Q for Tom Sapiano RE: ITP for Mac

Tom,

I have been using ITP 2.0 pro with much satisfaction. However, I am making the leap to Macs, and want to know how you are doing with the Mac version of ITP Pro? While I am probably not the best person for beta testing due to my lack of Mac experience, I offer anyway

In the short-term, what are Mac users doing to make their wireless connection? Advice appreciated. (Nikon D2H, WT-1A)

Thanks
Dave Harding

We're on the fringe of going into beta testing at this stage, however there have been a few hangups that have slowed us down (eg the new USB-based configuration mechanism used in the WT-3). I can't really provide a firm timeline at this stage as it's still a bit early - however once the beta is released we should have a better idea.

That isn't necessarilly a problem - there will be plenty of people such as yourself that will be interested in buying the product, so it is important to design it to be intuitive to all users. We've got a relatively long list of people who are interested in testing at this stage (especially in the last couple of weeks) but I'll see what I can do

OS X has a basic FTP server that comes pre-installed with the machine so it's just a matter of setting it up and configuring the camera. If desired, give me a shout and I'll be more than happy to walk you (or anyone else) through the process of setting things up on your Mac

Well, being new to the Mac, I'd like to take you up on that. I would use this in the field as an ad-hoc connection to Airport, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated....

Hi Tom

About a year ago you helped me hook up my WT1A but I never got it to work

Could you send me instructions as well and I will give it a go again

Thanks
Jay
