How have you approached troubleshooting the problem?

Re: Nikon WT-3

Charles

By pure coincidence I bumped into a Nikon wireless lecturer at a trade show yesterday.

He said that the problem you're experiencing is almost certainly to do with the WT-3 'hunting'. This occurs when there are many different wireless networks within range and it has to cycle through each one 'asking' to connect and awaiting a response.

He strongly suggested that you use FTP mode unless you need to control the camera from your laptop.

As a consequence of my discussions with this guy I have booked into one of his full day lectures at Nikon in London on 2 Feb. Hopefully I may be able to be of more assistance on this forum thereafter !

Jeremy
