ColorRight iBAL for iPhone is out

Just an fyi.

We created our first ColorRight iPhone app and iBAL filter. It is available here: ColorRight Color Correction Tool & White Balance Cards

It works with all camera capable iOS devices (iOS v.4.0+ required), the touch (4G) included.

Quite a learning curve to code that app.

Thanks,
Drew

Well, very interesting.

We'll look forward to the publication of your article describing the theoretical principles behind this approach to white balance color correction.

I'll bet. Congratulations.

Thanks, Doug.

No new theories, sorry. Just a lot of coding.

Maybe that will come later.

Android is so splintered. Certainly a possibility though. What is the latest version of the OS available for your device?

From my reading, it seems developers earn 8 to 1 in the apple store relative to the marketplace.

Re: ColorRight iBAL for iPhone is out

From my reading Android sales are outpacing iPhones in the past few months and expect to dominate next year. It makes sense that the Marketplace is less profitable than the apple store. My guess is that 'droid users are happy with free apps and apple users prefer to pay for theirs.

I finally picked up an Android after waiting through the apple craze and my son with an iPhone is not happy.

Hardware sales are definitely evening out. Unfortunately, it seems there are issues with the Marketplace at the current time. At least, most publishers don't seem to be earning as much revenue from apps. May turn around soon? Who knows.
