Re: ColorRight iBAL for iPhone is out

Drew
I use the standard ColorRight to balance both my 1D3 & 1D4 and my G10. Of course the std one is ridiculously large when held in front of the G10 but sets the WB superbly.
After watching the Peter Gregg video it seemed to me that the iBal would be ideal for P&S cameras. Have you tried it? Am keen to know.

Visit COLORRIGHT to get the colors right in your digital slr, point & shoot, video camera and iPhone or iPod Touch.

Yes, my 9 year old daughter carries one around for her little Nikon p&s and loves it. We haven't made a decision to market them this way. But, it has been discussed.

Re: ColorRight iBAL for iPhone is out

Thanks. That's Froyo, I believe.

Will have a look to see how much machine control over the various camera mechanisms is available on the Android platform. Apple just very recently added the ability to lock the white balance and various other API's that were needed to code the app. Will also see what may be coming in Gingerbread.

I find it a little hard imagining you taking jpeg encoded images.
