Hi, Drew,
On the Color Right Web Site (specifically, the page one is taken to by the "White Balance" tab on the Pro Photo Home forum pages ) appears this illustrative photo:
I'm am a little confused. The caption at the top says:
"Auto White Balance - Way Off As Usual"
The caption at the bottom says:
"Real Life" Reflective Measurement*
I had thought that "reflective measurement" referred to taking a white balance measurement "from the camera position" (the term being fairly apt in the case of a measurement taken with a diffuser having a narrow acceptance pattern).
But if this shot was corrected in-camera using the camera's AWB facility, there is no white balance measurement taken.
What am I missing here?
