Does the Color Parrot have a new marketing slogan?
The latest marketing quotation "This sucker works!!" reminds me of the Looney Tunes segment where Buggs Bunny just made a sucker out of some schmuck and the character fades into a sucker candy with a label that says SUCKER! then fades back.

If not for humor life would be bleak indeed. My sincere thanks to any and all who take a moment to add some.

In all seriousness, "color" is a veritable MINEFIELD of misconception, subjectivity, and confusion. I'm truly amazed that after only 28 years of development we can see colors on these here computers that resemble the primaries when they're supposed to.

I feel for anyone trying to market a product having to do with color "accuracy".

Ok, I have been a member here for a short time. Question, were you folks as tough on Rob Galbraith as some of you have been on Drew? It's just a question out of curiosity. I know that a lot of it has been in jest but, I think that he has taken somewhat of a beating over the "Color Parrot", now "Colorright". One has to admit that "the sucker works".

Noel,

I am not aiming my question or comments at anyone in particular. You are always very positive and objective in your comments. In fact, I think that you would make an excellent moderatior. My earlier question and comment refers back to all the flack that Drew took when he introduced the Color Parrot. I am just curious if Drew's predecssor was treated in a similiar manner. Does it go with the territory? Thanks.
