You run into more chances that a MOB or MOG will cause you havoc. Some guys are simply using the 'Bride' only for all legal signatures and that eliminates any B&G fighting and I like that idea. It's a PIA getting groom's in to sign sometimes. My decades of advice Chris is to avoid dealing with parents until everything is locked-up.

I'll have to think about 'client'. We actually have that on our form, but somewhere are the beginning you need to establish who the client is. So far, I've not had any gay/lesbian marriage to worry about the problem yet, but I'll put it on the 'to think about list'

Our invoices are exact as to the products, prices, payment arrangements and day of the wedding information.

We avoid doing business with nasty or pretentious people, cutesy game players, usually we filter them out on the phone. - Ed

i talked to my dad, who does lots of work with contracts...

apparently the client can be a company or couple or individual, so it doesnt need to be changed.

the contract now is between client and photog, i will require that B or G or both are the client. if someone else wants to pay for it, then i would suggest them buying a gift certificate, like someone mentioned or that they just pay the client and the client pays me.

Good topic, and just in time, as I need to make some changes to my wedding contract. Can anyone point me to a sample contract you'd recommend? (Or would anyone be willing to share a generic version of their own contract, perhaps e-mailing it to me if you don't wish to post it?)
