Interesting concept you have about getting "the one." I don't suppose I have ever really looked at it that way. It seems like I get a shot or two from most weddings that really tell the story of the whole day. But, if you were to take them all together and try to say which one was the best, I'm not sure you could. To me they all have more meaning in context. Plus, people seem to vary a lot on what they perceive as good. I have been quite surprised by some of the results of the photo contests we have every month.
I guess the same goes for art. If you look at Guernica by Picasso out of context it just looks like a bunch of funky shapes.
