I got my samples and I like them alot. But I need to talk to some people that use this product for logistics and customer service? One of the things I like about Asuka Book is that they will actually proof your proof and call to confirm your decisions when you send them the PDF files over the net. They really care that it will look the way you envisioned it.

Is that how Graphi Studio is? Do they have the ability to upload the images directly to them? How long does it take to get a book?

What made you decide to add in the GraphiStudio line when you have Asuka already? I agree about the customer service at Asuka. Twice I have had to call them to commend them on their stellar service.

I love the asuka books, but another forum kept raving and raving about the Graphis.

Well I got the samples in and they are pretty impressive. The books are huge and you can choose a boat load tone of different paper types: from asuka book paper to rich heavy canvas. The big books present to the client in a suitcase.

Really the biggest difference is options and "wow" factor. Some of there stuff I don't like as much as asuka (a few of their paper types are really horrid), but it would be good to have in the list of options for clients.

But from a quick talk to the people the phone, they are not as organized as Asuka books for getting media to them and to the manufacturer. That was my concern.

The first time I used Asuka, they called me and asked me about specifics of the layout I had to be sure that it was what I wanted. They gave suggestions on gutter conflict and ways to make it better as just their everyday service. I agreed with some of their ideas and not with others and they were totally happy just making the offer and then leaving it alone. It was a true selling point with me and the company.

Josh, Back in 2001, I was the first photographer in USA with Graphi books, I found them in UK. In those days it was taking about 9 weeks to get the work back, but I think my last order took just three.

Customer service has been excellent for me, yes, we have had errors, but they have been fixed and fixed pretty quickly.

When I first started to use their service, they would do the design, print and bind but for the past few years now, I have only used their print and bind service, keeping all the design work in house.

Like you say It is WOW appeal that makes a clients eyes pop out like organ stops.

I think I got the sample sample you did. I have sold books for all three paper types (metallic, lustre, and linen). I couldn't have done it without their sampler. I've ordered several albums from them and they've all come out exactly like I laid them out in Photoshop. I send the cd to them and they do the rest. I did have one calendar come in completely crushed and they reprinted and shipped two back, so I got to keep one for the studio. I also ordered some paper 4x5's for a bride and they over printed them by 4! I got to keep two and I gave one to a vender and suprised my bride with a copy for her purse! I agree about the organization, but their customer service has been wonderful. I think the longest I've had to wait for a book was two weeks!

I have been using these books for a couple of years.My profit has increased by 40%.They are a great company to deal with,any problems are sorted out fast and efficently.The quality of printing is superb and everything is laid out to a fantastic design.I choose to let Graphistudio do the layouts altough they are bringing out their own software which you can use to design your albums and get them to print and bind only.I had some sample albums made up and went to a bridal show last year and had a terrific responce.I do very little now in the traditional albums as when most brides see the graphi albums they are amazed at the layouts and quality.They now have a ftp transfer for account holders and if you have broadband it is very reliable and fast.I sent my last order by ftp about 85 files and they received them perfectly.You can also sent a cd or dvd to them.I have looked at many other companies doing a similar product but the quality and service is just not quite as good.I am doing a three day show this year in october and hope the responce is as good as last year.

I have been using GraphiStudio Exclusively for two years now. I love their product as do my clients. I've had one mistake made and it was corrected very quickly. My rep is very responsive and I've never had to wait for a reply. Customer service is very important to me and I can say without reservation that they take care of their customers. I recommend their products & service very highly.
