| Re: making the files smaller Hi Sue,
I'm sure there is probably an easy way to batch process all the images, but I do a couple of things if I'm going to give the bride and groom a copy or do a DVD, through Shutterfly or something like that.
I open in image in Adobe Photoshop and go to IMAGE>SIZE, then I'll either change the dpi to 72 which makes it great for view on a computer, but not so great for printing. I may also change the size a little bit, so instead of saving the picture as an 8x10, I might change the image size to a 5x7, plus change the dpi to 72. I usually am able to narrow down the number of photo too. I take a few filler pictures, the alter, some of the stained glass, etc. etc., but I usually don't include that on the disc, because they just help you out in creating backdrops for your albums etc. and the bride and groom usually couldn't care less.
Thats what I do, if someone follow up with additional info for you, take heed as there is about a 99 percent chance they are going to now more than me.... |
