Best album layout software

Forgive me if this has been discussed on a thread somewhere but I only found a thread from 2005 and wondered if there were any recommended wedding album layout software systems used by photographers using either Asuka or Graphi?

I'm wanting to go ahead and create my first sample Asuka album. I've read about Photojunction and wondered if it's still the best software for this, or can a similar output be created by Aperture or the like?

Photojunction seems to be a standard for album design, and I believe it's got templates for different album manufacturers. I have to say that it's not my favorite piece of software. I like to do them in Photoshop by just importing the images into my layout via layers, and then cropping and resizing as I go. That way, you just have a big blank canvas to work with, rather than a set template.

I have used two of the types of programs you are considering. Fotofusion and Lap Prints Studio. Of the two I prefer Fotofusion. You might want to check with your lab. If your lab supports one of these programs the file can be sent unflattened and the individual files making up the collage can be individually color corrected, which is a big plus. Using photoshop or one of the programs not supported by a lab renders or flattens the collage into a single file and leaves the color correction to you as the flattened or rendered collages can't be corrected individually.

Thanks for your replies-I'm wanting to use it for Asuka books and they're all square in format as far as I can tell. Asuka recommend Kubota image Tools. Anyone used them?
