| Re: Backgrounds for indoor bridal portraits Paper? Oh god I hated paper!!! Those rolls are so heavy, expensive, easily damaged, and such a pain to transport those *&%((* 9 foot rolls...
We have many 6-8 foot wide canvas backgrounds, but I hate dragging bulky stuff around and tend to do more on muslin than anyting else. We've got a lot of muslins (many really nice ones bought used cheaply off ebay) and will use those for full length shots often if possible. If I'm only shooting formal portraits of small groups and doing nothing more than 3/4 length, I'll use the twist-flex "pop-out" style backgrounds which are a muslin look in an instant set-up, easy carry package. Denny Mfg. and Westcott both make the pop-out backgrounds.
