We've done the 4x6's printed on 7600 and cut um up, it's cheep but you pay for it in labor time. And done the 4x6s at costco and sam's with most of the time good results-but can depend on whose on the printing at the time. 2 years ago did the proof less it's ok with it's own +'s and -'s .
But the common prob is people taking too long to make up there mind. So last year we started we love, making a simple designed prof book. We use Page GalleryII and do simple designs. We don't take much time thinking about it, remember it's really just a glorfyed proof book. We use a 4000 to print them our on enhansed matte paper. We print wide 11x8.5 you get more space on the page. We staple bind the edge and print and lamanate a cover for frount and back trim it and it looks great. Nothing like a spiral bound thing. It has a paper back book look.
Now since they have all the the pics of family and wedding group etc. We pick and design there art book. We can consentrate on just the couple and make it a romantic art book. The book is not filled the boring stuff and you get more jobs cuz the books look better.
Well that's what's working for us this year.
