Re: Wedding Photography Competitions

WPJA is an organization that some of our photographers have joined and they have regular competitions.

Here's the URL: http://www.wpja.com

I can't comment on it personally, but check it out for yourself.

Re: Wedding Photography Competitions

Cheers for that link Gene.....looks like a good organisation to be involved with. Found quite bunch of good quality UK wedding photographers that i've never seen before on their site

In general I've found that the UK wedding photog market is flooded with below par photography and cheap, bargain basement prices.....

Re: Wedding Photography Competitions

Hi Dan,

Being a BIPPmember overseas(I'm located in Holland) there is the National Print Exhibition from the BIPP which is greatly appreciated. Just contact the BIPPheadquarters at bipp.com.
Also you can visit http://www.wppinow.com/competition/ or the Kodak Photo Competition.
Joe, What's wrong with winnig a few awards? It gave my bussiness a big boost and it still is, winning a nomination in Holland two weeks ago(it was only a nomination but it gave us a very nice article in the paper an a spread in one of the leading weddingmagazines here in their next issue.
My clients appreciate our work and our effort to compete and grow in creativity.
I respect your way but it brings money in the bank.

Regards

Rich
