Which WB preset should I use for Raw?

I will shoot wedding picture soon. This is my first time to use Canon MARK II. I was told that I dont have to worry about white balance when I shoots pic with Raw, but I am still puzzle about which WB should I select? Any recommendation?

Re: Which WB preset should I use for Raw?

shooting RAW, you can completely change the WB setting in post production, so technically it doesn't matter what you have your camera set to...

except:
- you will save time in post processing if you keep the WB correct while shooting, be it by using the presets, custom WB, or auto WB. If you don't want to fuss with it, just leave in AWB.

- The camera's LCD preview of an image & the histogram are base on the camera's WB setting, so color and histogram might not be giving you a completely true reading if there is a big disparity between the color temp of the scene and the camera's setting.

Chris is correct..the closer you get incamera, the less work later..even shooting RAW.
But..I wouldn't use camera presets..especially an auto balance. I always do a custom WB..sometimes several..and switch back and forth as lighting conditions change.

Re: Which WB preset should I use for Raw?

Try to get White Balance accurate same applies for the Exposure.
This way if you use the File Browser you can Flag all similar pictures and correct only one in the File Browser without opening it and then apply this setting to all others automatically.
Then make PSDs and Jepgs and save them automatically while you have lunch.
Photoshop is working for you!
