Re: Help on what labs you use?

I use Miller's. They have labs in Kansas and Missouri with one lab focusing primarily on digital. Their prices are good and the service/quality is excellent. I have had very few orders to be returned for corrections and I think that all but one of those was my fault. Pretty good track record for a two year time frame.

I second millers. They're customer service is amazing. I always send a cd rather than ftp. They can provide you with a fedex slips so overnight to millers costs $4.50. It would take all night to ftp my images!

Millers might have a yearly minumum if you dont do over $2500. , Im not sure but contact them and ask, Both labs listed here are good but Millers is by far the best Lab I have ever worked with, 6yrs with them
4 years with the one before them and 2 yrs with another,

Re: Help on what labs you use?

www.mpix.com is run by Miller's, and does not require the same minimums. I had been using whcc before MPIX started, and have been happy enough that a switch hasn't been warranted. They seem pretty close in terms of prices and products though, and I know several colleagues that have nothning but good things to say about MPIX. WHCC customer service has been terrific, I've had very few problems/mixups and they've alwasy handled them quickly.

I may try MPIX for the B&W paper option, I'd be curious to see how that compares to B&W I've been getting on color papers from WHCC. (B&W on metallic paper looks really great for a lot of subjects).

WHCC sent out a note this year saying they are going to also start offering inkjet prints on a variety of papers which would be a nice option as well.
