Re: Angelica

Leslie, You haven't provided anyone with anything to start a digital photography discussion. Detailed information about lighting and camera equipment and how you took the photos is a minimum requirement. If you're only fishing for compliments on your photos please go to another digital photography forum to post. Mike

Re: Angelica

Leslie, your work is very good. One thing I noticed on you outdoor shots was the lack of fill evident within the eye sockets. I think a slight fill of 1 inder exp. would have helped these shots a little.

Leslie,

Mike is right! You need to provide 4 critical sets of facts, besides camera/lens gear, IMHO, if your object is to get the most serious and useful technical feedback.

1. The intent/purpose of the pictures: ie is this some sort of "boudoir photography" for the girl herself, or is this for some commercial job?

For the former, you are stuck with her flaws. There are fat folds and undulations in her thigh in image 07.

(Incidentally, in image 55 for example, she has salmon colored "costco: panties: crude looking, doesn't go with the clothes or the car.)

I don't do fashion or commercial photography, but it seems this is not that.

2. By what shortcomings, if any, do you feel your pictures miss their goal (rejections, criticisms etc or what troubles you about them?

3. What was the lighting? Bad shadows, (except for image 10, which I like and is pretty fine), demonstrate unfortunately fat cheeks.

Depending on the use of the pictures, this may or may not be detrimental. Anyway, I believe, this is a lighting challenge.

3. Finally, did you P.S. image 10, where the shadows are not so obvious?

Some suggestions for careful experimentation. You might look at desaturating the skin a little, playing with the color temp and brightness a tad to make her complexion less ruddy and be kinder to her facial features.

Good luck.

Asher
