If your in a church with their lights on, probably a tungston type, and daylight also comming in thru the windows, what would you set your wb at excluding a custom with a grey card, tungston? Auto maybe? Thanks.

If your not using an on-camera strobe....i'd try and do a custom WB. If your using a Fuji S(?) just set it to auto WB. The auto WB from the fuji S2/3 rocks. If your shooting Canon...do a custom WB or shoot raw.

For ambient light shots in this situation, I would definitely do a pre-set (custom) WB. I would also shoot an extra shot with a digital graycard in it. When processing later I'd click balance on this. If you custom WB was accurate..click balancing should hardly change the shot at all.

Re: White balance and ambient

Auto WB works amazingly well with the little Canon 20D. I dont know how good the Fuji S3's WB is, but if its anything like S2's AF, viewfinder, and ergonomics, I will have to say no thanks.

Cheers
