It renames the original files, but if you want to sort by capture date or something, it will only do that inside of iView. The copy, delete, and move commands apply to files on the drive. All in all, a very useful program.
With the D2h I can capture NEF/RAW and JPEG/any quality... at the same time. So that means I have both of them on one flash card, side by side.
I collate the RAW files into one file for archiving and you know...
This does make life simple for me.
