Portrait Book and/or resources needed

Hello,

I am looking for some good beginner "how-to" books on taking portrait pictures for singles and groups including posing suggestions. There is one big catch on the material, it cannot contain any nudity or boudoir (risque) images as this material is for a photography club for a high school.

Thanks for any information.

Jim

Jim,

I can not add anything but a smart-ass comment and that is a book with nudity in it is perfect for a high school class if you want to get and keep their attention. I may reconsider the scope of material.

Cliff
P.S. Just clip photos from magazines and use these as examples to take apart.

Hi Jim,
Personally, I got good info from "Group Portrait Photography Handbook" by Bill Hurter. Not sure if it will appeal to high schoolers, though. I also like, by the same author, "The Portrait Photographer's Guide to Posing".
That's my two cents, anyway...
