| Re: Group Photos Dan, I've been doing sports for the past 25 years using at first a 50mm for everything, group and individuals, varying the distance and flash power only. For the past 10 years, it's been using 28-85mm zooms (or 28-70 or 28-105) and our results are just great. Cheap lenses work best because they can be retired after a couple years of taking abusive dusty conditions outside on the ball fields, to be replaced with new ones. The more expensive pro lenses are reserved for inside or upscale outdoor work. We have no problems with the cheap lenses at all! |
