Portraits, yes with the Canon D30 I have gotton up to a 20x24 print from the Kodak LED printer at my color lab. It looks just as good as a neg' print.
I put the file from the camera in a Photoshop file made @ 250 dpi because the LED Printer uses that and the lab prints, very good quality. I am going to shot my 400 or so Seniors with the D30 this year, I am excited to do so because it will give me a wider range of things I can offer and do easier...........Hope this helps.
