UPDATE: This camera has been sold.
I have a Canon 1D Mark III for sale or trade.
It has 72,708 actuations...in other words, it's just getting broken in!

I purchased the camera new in August 2007. However, the camera is in extremely good condition. (See photos)
The sub-mirror assembly has been replaced. I personally took the camera to Canon's service center in Jamesburg (NJ) this summer for a clean & check and replacement of the sub-mirror assembly. I find the autofocus to be excellent. although I had no focus issues prior to the "fix".
UPDATE: The camera was taken to Canon again on 12/11/08 for a sensor cleaning and to obtain the exact number of actuations.
I have - and will include - the original box, packing, body cap, strap, and charger. I believe I also have the manual and the software, but couldn't locate them where I thought they'd been stored. (I'll update this post to confirm that they've been located and will be included.)
I will also include TWO extra batteries (three total) for the camera. One of the extra batteries has literally never been used; it has been in the original box since day one. The camera also includes the remote terminal cover and the adapter ring, plus the battery door cap (pictured).
See photos below.
Price for an outright sale is $2700. This price takes into consideration the above average use. Most 1DM3's seem to be selling between $2900 and $3100. I will cover shipping and will ask the buyer to cover PayPal fees, unless we can arrange a face-to-face transaction, which would be ideal for several reasons.
I would also consider negotiating a trade for a Nikon D3 or D700, but not other models. (If you're curious, I have one D3 now and am in the process of making a move to Nikon - at least for a while.)
Feel free to PM me or post here with questions.
