One of Nikon's best. Perfect travel lens for digital cameras as the effective focal length is 52-105 mm. Pictures are sharp and very contrast. Picture quality is on par with Nikon 28-70 mm which costs a lot lot more and is much bigger. Front glass has a mark which does not affect photo quality. Rear glass is perfect. Rear mount is like new because of little use. Focus is smooth. Zoom push pull is smooth acroos the range except being stiff at around 40mm. Hence priced accordingly.
