Lexar 133x 4g CF???

I recently purchased a a new Lexar 133x 4gb CF card as well as an 80x to go with an older type II 4 gb cf card (40x I think) - But the 133 seems to take a long to "chimp" the image doesn't come up right away like it does with my old 4g or with my others. It take 3 - 4 seconds at times - I hate to say it but it act like a 1g IBM microdrive I used to use as a back up - it was soooo slow.
I haven't noticed if it actully writes slow - I need to test it. Has anyone else seen this???
Thanks
Joe

Re: Lexar 133x 4g CF???

I was interested in obtaining the Lexar Pro Series 133x CF 4 GB with Write Acceleration until I learned that Write Acceleration is not supported by any Canon camera. It seems that Canon owners are relegated to the simplest of GB basic Lexar CF cards.
Does anyone have further information on this issue?

Michael,

I don't keep with which Canon cameras support what, too much hassle. Easiest solution, use Galbraith's CF Performance Database. Let's you know what cards have what kind of speeds with the camera you are probably using. Much simpler if you ask me.
