Actually, today it snowed (and still is as I type). But being as far north as we are, it certainly doesn't rain (in season of course) as much as it did when I lived in Abbotsford (just east of Vancouver). But that's OK, because my 5-year-old son LOVES shoveling the snow off of our driveway.

Regarding my tendency to ask questions...it's my way of preparing and making an informed decision about the opportunities that present themselves to me--often unannounced. It's just the way I'm wired. It's one of the ways I learn best. I guess I do so in order to minimize the mistakes down the road.

P.S. Just to prove my earlier comment about snowing, this shot was taken off the deck on the front of our house at 9:10 PM PST tonight. The driveway in the lower right is what my son likes to help shovel.
