Adventure Photography Workshop

We're happy to announce the 2nd Adventure Photography Workshop returning to Jackson, WY, October 7-11, 2007. Spend a week learning from top adventure photographers while enjoying the outdoor paradise of Jackson, WY. We'll be working with experienced mountain guides and National Geographic Adventure magazine for an active week photographing climbing, mountain biking, trail running, camping and more

In today's new adventurous world, photographers are tackling the challenges and opportunities of Adventure Photography -- and after a pilot workshop last fall, we are adding the Adventure Photography Workshop under the auspices of National Geographic Adventure magazine. Four days of classroom, career counseling and field photography in the Grand Tetons provide an not only an insider's view on technical and creative advances, but also advise with practical career-development in this fast growing field. The faculty is the best. Corey Rich is arguably the top adventure/action photographer in the nation today. James Balog is a true artist with unique books and exhibitions added to his abilities as a great teacher. Sabine Meyer brings a photo editor's perspective, reponsible for commissioning*and editing photography at National Geographic Adventure magazine. And Rich Clarkson, the workshop organizer, is the respected former director of photography of the National Geographic Society. Needless to say, the networking opportunities add that extra value to this experience.

Please check the website for additional details and then call 800-745-3211 with additional questions or to register.

Re: Adventure Photography Workshop

Hey Brett!

Long time no see! I know it's been a while since we last talked... I went on the workshop site and read all the particulars for the workshop. It looks like a great workshop to attend...

Unfortunately, I don't think I can make it out there this year... Hopefully, the Adventure Photography Workshop in 2008! Queestion for you.. Is the format for the Sports Photography Workshop the same like it's been like when I was last there in 2002? Or has it changed?

Hope you are doing well! Chat with you soon!

From sunny and unusually HOT California!
