I cannot disagree more. I gave up college football for rugby....the play was more serious, the players less serious, and the beer was more abundant and better.

What more could you ask for?

I wondered the same thing, Bulldog. Going to shinty.com seems to reveal that shinty is essentially field hockey for boys.

I also understand that cricket seems to resemble baseball. Am I correct here?

My Rugby career consisted of two games. Two broken ribs the first game, a broken arm the second with a promise from my wife that she would break my neck if I ever thought about playing game #3. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

My little brother was a world class lawn darts receiver for an afternoon....then mom told him to stop.
