Re: Radio Shack Pop Ups

What I don't like is how the FireFox ads list Internet Explorer as a "wannabe". With the right settings IE can be secure from ads and malware as well. I know because I've been doing it for years.

Re: Radio Shack Pop Ups

You should see a lot fewer ads and none at the top when logged in. This is the policy.

If you are not logged in you will see more.

There should not be any pop-ups at all. Any pop-unders should be limited to 1 in a 24 hour period.

If, however, you are logged out or are using certain script blocking software you may see it more often. If you empty your cookies you may also see it more often as it has no way of knowing when you were last logged in.

Some ad block tools do work, as I mentioned before. However, if you wish to have the site continue its existence, I respectfully request that you allow ads from prophotohome.

Re: Radio Shack Pop Ups

Drew, the problem is not ads, per se, but ad scripts that install malware. I've seen it too often.

For what it's worth I see all the ads - LeicaMarket, Professional Photo Resources, Inc., B&H, etc. I just don't get pop-ups or pop-unders.
