Cons:

it being to most expensive thing i own, you have to buy the upgraded package to get printed instructions with it. screen needs to be better.

I have a P25- 22MP, great image quality, like nothing from DSLR, not to most cost efficient device ($$ per MP), list price is $21,000, thats 3x the canon 1ds mark 2 at 16MP. more accurate color, files have natural sharpness to them without any sharpening applied, great dynamic range. great build to the device overall, easy to use menu system. i also like the 3x4 proportions to the images.
the screen on the current backs is very poor, more so than the old canon DSLRs. its usefull for image review, just menu navigation, which is really easy. using the histogram mode is the only way i would do exposure, otherwise use it teathered. the new plus verisons will have a better screen, and i would reccomend buying one of those for the extra $3000.
the standard package w/1 yr warr doesnt include printed instructions which is lame. when i buy an additional battery pack from canon or flash cord, there are lots of literature included in it. lens cast tool should come standard too.
i dont care for the price games esp. with trade ins. but trade ins do save alot, buy a $1000-2000 back and it will save atleast double, sometimes triple its value towards a new back.
dealers are great, i used capture integration in atlanta. great experience. would reccomend. off the beaten path a little, a smaller operation, but still has a readily available and knowlegible staff.
