Description: I bought this ball head from Amvona on ebay. My total cost including shipping was $48.55. It's made in China and I believe it's a copy of a name brand ball head, I'm not sure exactly which. I do know that the quick release portion is nearly an exact copy of the one that's on my Manfrotto geared head.

The Dynatran workmanship isn't quite as good as the Manfrotto, but it is pretty good. I feel that it's definitely worth what I paid for it.

The ball and rotation tightening knobs all work pretty smooth. However, I don't have any other ball heads to compare them to.

It does have degree markings near the base for precise rotation. Although, I don't particularly care for how the degrees are marked. The numbers are between the lines instead of over them and the lines are not equally spaced. This is my only real complaint.

If you're in the market for a ball head and you can't justify a $400+ head to the wife, this would be a good buy in my opinion.
