Pros:
Really sharp, small and light. Very durable. Comes with a great lens hood
Cons:
No AF-S, manual focusing feels 'tinny'.
Really good portrait lens, but lacks in the auto focusing department. Is a great value for the money, especially used.

Pros:
sharp as a tack, value, size, 1.8
Cons:
be nice if I could get one in red
I got a few of these to shoot indoor volley ball and was so impressed I now carry one to most jobs, just in case I need a short depth of field.
At the price this as well as the 1.4 50mm should be in most serios photog's kit.
