Pros:
Faster access to the controls than SB800
Cons:
Lacks power when used outdoor

I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread until I started to use it extensively outdoor. Either for sports or groups, once outdoor you need a bracket to point the infrared signal precisely to the receivers. Max distance is roughly 10 meters, passed that distance the signal becomes flaky at best and is a chore to aligned with the receivers ( the 10˚that Nikon recommend is mandatory). But overall this is such a nice piece of equipment that I wouldn't mind paying a bit more to have:
1-Double the power
2-A hinged foot (horizontal/vertical)
3-More channels
4-AAA batteries ( to use rechargeable instead of lithium)

Nice device, saves multiple trips to the flash when tweaking the setup.
Needs more power.
