BSOD in Bridge CS4 fixed with updated nVidia Driver

I had 1 BSOD a few days ago working in Bridge CS4 (Vista 64) then yesterday I had two fairly close together. The BSOD screen only lasts about 1/3rd of a second so I only noted the text “…driver stopped…” in all cases, not fast enough to read anything else.

I ran the Vista low-level memory check since in my experience bad memory is one of the chief causes of BSODs. The test came up clean.

Googling the issue reminded me that the video driver can be a cause of BSODs so I updated to the latest nVidia driver from their web site.

I worked most of the day today in Bridge with no problems so I am assuming the problem has been corrected.

Interesting.
