| Re: RAW Processing Well, most of my comment that "you can do [sharpening] better later" is based on Photoshop Camera Raw's tendency to put dark halos next to edges. Most of the rest of the processing of the image (color changes, lightening/darkening, etc.) work better without the image being sharpened first. Plus I have developed my own sharpening tools that I use on many images, and on others I find Photoshop's Smart Sharpen to be superior to sharpening during raw conversion.
