Creating visual indicators for file types?

When using Adobe Bridge is there a way that I can create visual indicators for file types?

For an example to capture images I use a Nikon D200 camera. The file type my camera creates is .NEF file. If I create .TIF files from my .NEF files I want to use a visual indicator applied to the .NEF and the .TIF fiiles so that I know that I’m looking at .TIF file as opposed to a .NEF file.

Once I create my visual indicators I would like this rule to be applied to all files that Adobe Bridge displays. I want to create this rule once. I want to be able to modify the rule when I see fit.

If this option is currently not available under Adobe Bridge I suggest that they add such feature.
