Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

Same here. Funny thing is, I'm sure I have been able to rearrange the image order in the past.

Mike.

Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

I believe you can only manually rearrange (drag) images within Collections.

Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

It works in both Collections and Folders on my system. I think all of the previews have to be rendered before it will work. I tried it on a new import and it would not work until all asscociated processing had finished.

Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

Ok, it's working now in my Collections. Didn't work before, obviously all the processing wasn't done, and I gave up too soon.

Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

I have Lightroom as one of the perks of having purchased RSP. I noticed that while it informs me there is an update it takes me directly to the purchase page, not update. Apparently our free copies cannot be upgraded without purchasing the program. I'm going to call Adobe and bitch about this!

Re: Lightroom 1.1 features

Luminous Landscape has released their video tutorial for LR 1.1. It's a free download for everybody, not just past purchasers of the 1.0 tutorial!

Furthermore, Mr. Reichmann has pointed out an excellent write-up of LR 1.1's new features by Ian Lyons. Mandatory reading.

I'm in the same boat, but my download was free. I really can't remember what all occurred when I downloaded it, but it didn't cost me anything. It could be that the download is a trial version good for a certain time, and when it is installed it reads the authorization code. But keep looking and reading what it says on the web page. It should be free. And be gentle with Adobe. It could be that your impression is mistaken.
