Had a bit of a glitch when accessing the Print Module. Instant Lightroom crash. This was not something I experienced with 1.0. Did a reinstall without any improvement. In playing around with trying to get the Print module to work the Lightroom database became corrupted. Now Lightroom would crash immediately on launch. Luckily I had a backup database copy which restored 1.1 operation including the Print module crash. On a hunch I created a new empty catalog and imported my old catalog (ie Library) into it. Resulting database was smaller and now everything seems to work normally. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I wonder if the problems others are experiencing might not also be database related. Perhaps the 1.0 to 1.1 database conversion is not working correctly.
1.1 addresses all of my 1.0 issues so I am a happy camper

The auto-update system told me to upgrade to 1.1 when I opened LR today so I did.
They did not fix the startup code so it still will not startup on the 2nd monitor in a 2-monitor system!
They did not fix the Rearrange Thumbnail Images either, at least not on XP. Dragging a thumbnail (in either the Library grid or in the filmstrip) only allows the photo(s) to be added to an existing Collection or an existing Keyword Tag; rearranging has not been implemented! I would really love to see this work so I could order the photos for output in the slideshow module without renaming them in some sortable way.
I’m wondering if I can use Folders instead of Collections now, saving Collections for something other than a surrogate folder pointer. I’m going to rethink the way I use keyword tags too. Anyone have some good ideas on organizing keywords?
I was a little concerned when 1.1 first opened without a catalog but it did imported the 1.0 catalog into 1.1 via the method described when I tried to open it via File>Open Catalog. Everything seems to have been imported correctly.
No other problems as yet.
The install application seems to do a good job of cleaning up all the 1.0 files, I let it install to the default folder which is not the 1.0 folder. The only 1.0 folder/file it did not delete was the base Lightroom folder and the 1.0 UserGuide.pdf it contained.
Prints to an Epson R2400 just fine.
I think Luke Miller might have a point regarding corrupted database being the root cause of some problems. In 1.0 my computer crashed while LR was open and that resulted in a corrupted database. When I tried to open LR 1.0 after that it said the database was corrupted and then just exited (not much help that). I copied in the most recent backup (a few hours old) and LR 1.0 went back to work.
In the Printing module there was nothing showing under User Templates so I loaded all of my 1.0 templates. The result was a double listing of each of the templates. I deleted each of the redundant listings and checked the folder where LR keeps these to make sure at least one of each was still there… it was. I like the change here: User templates have their own header and you can create additional headers for grouping templates.
I’m in the middle of processing 500-odd photos I took earlier today at a horse ranch. The horses were very friendly, very interested in my camera, they like to smell everything up close and personal (try changing lenses in the middle of a herd when you are the center of their attention), the electric fences are a real shocker getting through if you are not very careful and kids and horses seem to go together like apple pie and ice-cream. Its been a great day!

Mark - In 1.0 I could manually rearrange the thumbnails on my XP system. I have not yet tried it in 1.1, but hopefully it still works.

Mark - Library Module, Grid view, click on center of the image and drag to new location. The Sort Order will shift from whatever it was previously to User Order. Still works in 1.1

Well, I found the Sort Order menu, and there is no User Order selection on it. I tried dragging an image, and there is a little "drag image" icon which accompanies the cursor, but the image doesn't move. So it isn't working on mine either. There must be a setting somewhere. I see that you can rearrange selected images for the slide show. I tried selecting all the images and rearranging, and that didn't work. I think the rearrangement of images is connected to the slide show function, but I haven't found a combination that works yet.
