ETC Hi and Lo Sat 5d profiles appear identical

I viewed my ETC HiSat 5d profile for the first time, and it looked distinctly lo in saturation. So switched to the LoSat and nothing changed at all. I am running 3.7.3 and OSX 10.4.5 Any suggestions as to why these appear identical, or how to deal with ETC?
(I'm asking here because there seems to be no real Support area on ETC.)
Sean

They are different, but you might need a more than average saturated area to quickly see the differences. The Losat is mostly used on skin tones and on images with harsh contrast, and when the saturation seems to become just too heavy, like in direct sunlight and the like... The profiles are not meant to be very different, and as the documentation says, you also need to get the exposure and WB correct first. Save two images and layer them on top of each other in PS, switch between them, and you will see (and measure) saturation differences...

As for support - there is a dedicated 5D forum - actually one exists for all products supported: Etcetera 5D support forum
and you could easily send an email as well? The email address is the sender email address on the emails you recieved when ordering and downloading...

Best regards,

Re: ETC Hi and Lo Sat 5d profiles appear identical

Btw... after using the Dell 30" screen for an extended period of time now the feature I like best is the built in USB hub and the CF cardreader.

I guess my next fridge will need a built in screen and printer to satify me (customers).

Btw2: I found a software that allows to rotate the 30" screen by 90° called Pivot Pro ( http://personalcomputing.portrait.com/us/products ).

Now I only need to find a mount to put the screen vertically on the wall. That's gonna make a huge difference for me as over 95% of my pictures are verticals.

Cheers

Boris
