Aperture - D2X Nef's no longer reading / supported

Strange happenings...

Haven;t worked with Aperture in a couple of weeks, but now that I am, my NEF files from my D2X no longer apper to be supported - What gives?

The only change of substance is that my system has been upgraded to 10.4.5 and has all system updates in place.

Thoughts welcome!

No idea, but have you tried another Mac?

I have Aperture 1.01 installed on my mine with 10.4.5--happy to try loading a D2X .nef for you if you like.

PM me and I'll send you my e-mail (no problem with large attachements).

Even Stranger...

The problem appears to be gone...!

I loaded some new NEF test files to determine if the naming or IPTC info was potentially the problem - and it worked fine.

Then, I went to the libraries that were problematic yesterday, and I watched as unreadable grey squares, one by one, became visible and active again... Bizarre.

The machine wasn't even restarted ( it did have an overnite nap though...), the only thing that happened was that Aperture was shut down yesterday, and then reopened today, which I'm reasonably certain that I did yesterday as well.

I was going to run a permissions repair, but didn't need to, so that wasn;t it... I guess the program still has some instability that opening / closing seems to eventually address.

Solved? Not really, but working for now I guess...
