How to stop Bridge changin RAWs from .tif to CS2.

The Problem is that if you want to edit a big shoot in Bridge but process in C1, I'm stuck. I haven't tried renaming them as .tifs, but I don't know if it makes other changes that mean they won't develop in C1 (I haven't tried it yet). But who needs an extra step?
Anyway, is there a way to prevent this? I don't find ACR to be the only useful development tool.

Bridge doesn\'t do that

What do you mean 'edit' in Bridge? If you 'edit' a RAW file in Bridge, you use CameraRAW to make the changes. Then you either hit 'Done' or you hit 'Open' and convert the RAW to TIFF. If you hit 'Done' the RAW file is not converted, but CaptureOne won't see those changes so you've done all the work for nothing. Renaming the extension of a file is a BAD IDEA. It will probably cause CaptureOne not to recognize them at all.

Re: Bridge doesn\'t do that

To be clear, by "edit" I meant that I assigned some rankings in bridge. That's all.

So what happens exactly if you do that?

Sean,

There is currently interaction between iView and Bridge regarding rankings. iView also has a pdf on using it as a browser for C1 here.

So, the best fit for you may be in using something like iView instead of Bridge.

A work around in Bridge though could be to edit your shoot in Bridge, make your selections (select them) and then "control + click" the selections to open them with C1 instead of ACR or.... do "reveal in finder" in Bridge on your selections so that you can copy them into another folder for C1 to work on (this is essentially what iView would be doing a bit more elegantly).
