Re: Capture One pro software

I am very happy with C1 LE, but would echo the sentiment that Pro is very expensive unless you have a specific need that you feel LE won't handle. I think the answer is to try the free trial version of LE and if you think that it is fine then OK. If necessary you can always upgrade at a later date.

Re: Capture One pro software

I've been using RSP and can't find anything I want that it doesn't do. Plus I love the Fill Light and the Vibrance is pretty usefull sometimes. I rather take the $300 savings and buy another stobe, or gamble or go skiing or buy some wine.

Re: Capture One pro software

Meant to add to the above..........

by far and away the best histogram, in my view, is the one in Canon's DPP. Crystal clear on the screen, with a grid and it changes neatly when colour is being adjusted. Superb.

My problem with it is that, while it has highlight and shadow sliders at the base of the histogram (just like C1 LE, and which I like), it doesn't appear to have a mid-tone slider, which is a fatal flaw.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
