Mac vs Windows Capture One - looking for update

I am looking to add a workstation to my mixed network to do primarily raw conversion with Phase One's Capture one program. I have been using a Windows machine for the past year or so for this function, but the back side of my workflow is all Mac. Has the Mac version caught up enough that I can put in a dual processor G5 and be happy or should I call Dell and get a new Windows machine?

Thanks Mark. That's good to hear. Any idea about conversion speed? I am looking at either a Dual G5 mac or a new single processor Windows machine, which would convert my EOS 1Ds files faster? Last year the Mac was slower by a long shot.
