Another C1 problem - 1DM2 tethered to computer

Normally, I shoot on location and use CF cards in the field. Upon rare occasions, I shoot in the studio and will sometimes tether the camera to my computer. Over the past few days, I've been working on a large still-life shoot, in the studio. Because most shots are small, I still use my 1D. I was tethered to my PC, using C1, and everything went smoothly.

For a few shots, I wanted to use the 1DM2 to reduce the possibility of moire on some tweed fabric. Lo and behold, C1 would not capture with my camera. I started up Canon's DPP and had absolutley no problem shooting. But, it was a pain. First shooting with C1, then switching over to Dpp everytime I wanted to use my 1DM2.

Is there a trick getting the program to work with this camera? Will 3.5.2 solve this? I start shooting the project again tomorrow and would like the problem resolved.

Thanks for the help.

Nemo

Nemo my friend the 1dMKII is still NOT supported by C1. Not sure where there heads are on this one , I begged months ago to get this going and still today . Nada, Zilch, Nothing has been done.

Your only choice is DPP even Remote Capture from Breeze does not support the 1dMKII.

Sorry for the bad news.

This leads me to think that Canon has still not released the necessary driver update or info as Chris is usually pretty quick to support once the pieces are available.

Thanks Don and Guy. Glad to know I'm not a total moron. I suppose I thought (falsely) that since C1 could do the conversions, it would work tethered. Good thing I loaded DPP. I almost didn't.
