| Nikon D1X Workflow
I am planning to do some catalog work with another photographer on Nikon D1x tethered to a Mac. (His gear, so no choice here in camera or computer) I am proficient with photoshop, and have been operating my own digital imaging workstation in my office for several years. Iíve been doing my own scanning and printing, and am proficient inn colormanagement as far as these devisers go. My questions pertain chiefly to the capture stage.
Iím assuming that while on set, I will be viewing these images with Nikon capture while shooting. I am looking for some direction to tutorials or articles, or advice on a good workflow. I have many questions, too many to list here, but some are- do I export these as 16bit file and later open then in PS? If I decide to make a camera profile, do I do this to a raw file once it has gone through Nikon view? Sorry to sound naive, but I am a quick learner.
