Image rotation in NV5.5/NC3.5

Have recently/reluctantly upgraded to NC3.5/NV5.5 from NC2 (to use OSX).

In NC2, if you rotated a capture, all subsequent captures had that rotation until you cancelled it.

Can't for the life of me figure out how to make NC3.5/NV5.5 do that. And it's a major pain (if I'm shooting a series of "portrait"-oriented images) to have to rotate each new capture.

Am I missing something obvious????
