Not yet, but Adobe did preview raw conversion technology back on November 1, and said they would "get it to you as soon as we can".

I of course know much more about this than I'm allowed to say, since I'm the author of said technology.

Well, get off the internet and get coding, dang it!

Seriously, I'll take this chance to say thanks to you and the rest of the PS developers. Rarely has a tool changed an industry as much as PS has, since- what '85? Gagging my Mac Plus with the 20 megabyte hard drive and a full meg of ram.

I know you stay in touch with photographers and try to create tools that help us do our business more easily and profitably.

Thank you very much, your work is appreciated.

Thomas,

Have you read Rob's platform test?
Megahertz matters
I curious how the Mac version of your plug-in will compare (speed-wise) to the PC version . I'd love to hear your thoughts on what can be expected from SW that was written for the PC and then later, ported to the Mac OS ? Does this account for any of the speed issues Rob has noted in his report?
Thank you for stopping by this great site!

Yes we love to get that plugin soon !

Isn't it strange that the two first posts is made by two NEW members and it is their FIRST post ever to this forum. Seems to me that someone is teasing us ???

Hey Mel,

The Dell Dimension system did fairly poorly in many of the comparisons. It's worth noting that the Dimension model isn't really their hot performer. I wonder how a Dell Precision workstation might do (I use several dual 800 MHz Precisions myself; there's a lot to be said for optimizing the rest of the motherboard for high throughput).
