Canon File Viewer Utility for Windows?

I was reading Rob's Mac vs PC report, and I noticed that he tested both systems using Canon File Viewer Utility 1.1.

I use a PC, but unfortunately I can't find a windows version for download anywhere. When I look atthe Canon download site it says the File Viewer Utility is only available for Mac OS X. Windows user seem to be stuck with the lame Zoombrowser.

Anybody how Rob was running the File Viewer Utility on the Windows machines?

Thanks,

Andrew

Many of us use Breezebrowser. Very good and is available for free TRIAL at http://www.breezesys.com/ and if you like it you can buy for $35. More than worth the price. Also there is a free downloader by Chris Breeze at the same site. Breese Sys

Re: Canon File Viewer Utility for Windows?

Thanks for the reply. I'm very familiar with Breezebrowser, and I agree that it's an excellent product. All his programs are much better than anything Canon has produced. I would just like to know how Rob used a program that is only available for Mac OS X on his Windows machines. If this is possible to do, I would like to try out the File Viewer Utility as well.

Anybody else have any ideas?

Re: Canon File Viewer Utility for Windows?

I have the File viewer utility on my PC (came with the 1Ds).

But I never even look at it since I use Capture One DSLR.
